The project has been developed by Bravado, the merchandising division of Universal Music Group, and The Sine Wave Company.

This is a great way for fans to see and try our merchandise ranges" said Mark Stracey, Head of D2C Web/Mobile/Digital at Bravado in London. "Not only can they get a cool virtual t/shirt for their avatar, they can see the latest in the Virtual Store and buy the real world equivalent in our Artist Webstores"

"We want the island to be a community spot and as well as developing creative new stuff for the bands, we will be encouraging the bands to come and meet people here and maybe to do some live gigs." Said Rohan Freeman, CEO of The Sine Wave Company.
